The history of our environmental work

An environmentally sustainable approach to operations has been an integral part of Restel’s strategy since 1995.

At all our hotels and restaurants, an environmental review has been conducted to document each unit’s starting point in terms of an environmentally friendly way of operation. Each hotel and restaurant has an Environmental Supervisor who is in charge of environmental issues, including the coordination of best practices for implementing the environmental policy programme and transforming the plans into practical measures. The Supervisor also ensures that the unit’s operations are in compliance with the agreed environmental plans and procedures.

We invest in providing our personnel with training and education in environmental protection and waste sorting issues.

To gain more information about environmental protection in general and compliance with plans, we work in close co-operation with various environmental organizations.
