The Cumulus hotel chain will open a new hotel in Tampere during the spring of 2012
The hotel, set to be located next to the former main post office building at Rautatienkatu 21, will be the 27th Cumulus hotel in Finland and the fourth of its kind in Tampere. The new hotel will feature 180 hotel rooms, each equipped with its own air conditioning system and Internet access. Some of the rooms will be classed as superior rooms, and will feature an even higher level of comfort. The décor of the rooms will be bright and cosy, and guests will enjoy the additional overnight comfort provided by our range of pillow options. Smoking is not permitted in any of the rooms in the new Cumulus hotel. Current environmental standards and sustainable development objectives have been taken into consideration in the design of the hotel, the material choices, the energy-efficiency aims and our service standards. For example, all the hotel rooms are equipped with recycling bins and used batteries can be deposited at the reception desk.
A 120-seat restaurant, Martina, will open in connection with the hotel to provide dining services for hotel customers and city
residents alike.
